You Don’t Need to Be an Expert to Start a Business — You Just Need Obedience
Let me say this plainly You don’t need a business degree to build wealth. You don’t need a huge following to make sales. You don’t need to know everything — but you do need to start.
When I began my business journey, I wasn’t confident. I wasn’t sure if people would listen to me. I didn’t even know if I could make a single dollar online. I actually started my first YouTube channel just to share what I was learning. I had no idea people were even making money from YouTube, affiliate links, or digital products. I just wanted to help — and document my journey. And in that simple act of obedience, everything changed. Please note: I am not a financial advisor. The Lies I Had to Confront
Before I made my first dollar, I believed lies like: “I need to be an expert before I teach anything.” “No one will take me seriously.” “I need to have everything perfect before launching.” “If I don’t make money fast, I’ll look like a failure.” These lies were rooted in fear and comparison. But God reminded me: “You’re not starting this to prove anything — you’re starting because you’re called.”
Obedience Will Take You Where Perfection Never Will
There’s something powerful about obeying God before you feel ready. …I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. I wasn’t even trying to start a business. But obedience created opportunities I didn’t even know existed. 
Start With What You Have When Moses stood before the burning bush and told God he wasn’t enough, God asked him, “What’s in your hand?” He had a staff. I had a laptop, Canva, and faith. What do you have?
You don’t need to be certified. You need to be committed. You don’t need to be the best. You need to be available. You don’t need a logo. You need a willing heart. God can multiply what you start — but He won’t multiply what you won’t move. 
Here’s What I Recommend if You’re Just Starting: Pick one simple business model (KDP, POD, affiliate marketing,
digital products, trading, freelancing) Learn from free resources (my YouTube channel is a great place to begin) Give yourself 90 days — and show up daily Don’t wait for perfect — publish, post, or launch now Invite God into every decision — and obey without delay You may not feel like an expert, but you can be a vessel of value.
The Scripture That Anchored Me “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19 Obedience opens doors that hustle never could. And when you obey in faith — even when you feel afraid — God brings favor, clarity, and results that make no sense in the natural 
Final Encouragement I started a YouTube channel just to help others — and it became one of my biggest income streams. I started using affiliate links to recommend tools I already loved — and it became a blessing to others and a business.
I started publishing journals just to share my message — and it opened up a new stream. I started trading just to learn — and now I help others grow too. It all began with one yes. You don’t need a title — you need a testimony. You don’t need approval — you need obedience.
